It's your first morning in Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel located along the Kohala Coast!

The Kohala Coast is a mix of the island's best beaches and swankiest hotels not far from ancient valleys and temples, waterfalls, and funky artist enclaves.

The hotel you're going to stay in is located in Hapuna Beach, one of the biggest white sand beaches in the island. Your room is a standard room with a king sized bed and a private lanai/balcony offering a partial ocean view. You can have your breakfast here and then be on the road by 10:30am to go to the Northern part of Kohala.

Your first stop is the town of Hawi. Here are some of the stores/sights you can visit:

Hawi Gallery: Art and Ukelele

Look at some artwork and maybe even buy yourself a cute ukelele!

Gallery at Bamboo

Kohala Artworks

Hawi Farmer’s Market

Hawi Wind Farm

Have lunch at the Bamboo Restaurant and Gallery, one of the island's oldest and most beloved establishments. Known for its affordable, creative, Pacific Rim menu, along with warm, lighthearted fun, and a big aloha spirit, Bamboo has been rated "Excellent" by Zagat and been awarded stars from Fodors.

Then by 2pm, get back on the road and go to the Polulu Valley Lookout which is literally at the end of the road. . You can just park your car and enjoy the stunning view of the Polulu Valley. Take your time in taking pictures. This is the end point of the mini road trip, so it's time to go back the way you went, but make a quick stop at Kohala Coffee Mill, for a light snack (Must try: Coffee flavored ice cream) and then go back to the Hotel to enjoy a few hours of free time before dinner. You can watch the sunset fromk your balcony or if you're not too tired, you can even go for a quick swim at the Hapuna Beach or the pool.

At 7pm, you have a reservation at the hotel's Coast Grille Terrace, overlooking the Hapuna Beach.
